clip artStats amazing
FVRL cardholders, you checked out 356,705 items during the month of March. That's three percent more than the 346,568 you checked out in March 2011. For the first three months of 2012, circulation increased nearly 10 percent over the same period in 2011. Happy reading!

clip artBig changes in store for the mall library in 2013
With a new lease for a 3,575 square-foot space beginning in January 2013, the current 7,275 square-foot Vancouver Mall Community Library will close for remodeling on Dec. 24. When the smaller facility opens in March or April 2013, patrons will enjoy a brand-new space that is tailored to providing the services and resources they need most. Read the district news release.

If you're a mall library user, you're invited to PROVIDE INPUT about some of the decisions to be made for the new space (deadline for providing input is Sunday, May 20).
