Fort Vancouver Regional Library District is recruiting for a creative and community-focused branch manager to provide leadership at Stevenson Community Library, one of 15 libraries throughout our district.
The Branch Manager is involved in the day-to-day operations of the branch as well as serving as the face of the library district within Skamania County and helping lead community outreach and relationship building in the city and rural communities in the county. This position partners with the branch supervisor to supervise a team of four other employees. Besides managing the Stevenson branch, this position is also in charge of two other outlets: North Bonneville Community Library and the Skamania County Bookmobile.
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Three to five years of related work experience
- Two to five years of supervising employees with experience managing people or projects
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science and the ability to obtain Washington State certification upon hire
The ideal candidate would also have experience creating, evaluating and implementing library programs (or similar programs).

Typical starting salary is $55,453 per year with an excellent benefits package including health insurance benefits, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment, short term and long term disability benefits, Washington State PERS retirement and paid time off. No relocation assistance is available for this position.
