Gwendolyn Morgan is a Northwest poet and artist who learned the names of birds and wildflowers and inherited paintbrushes and wooden paint boxes from her grandmothers. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, and an M.Div. from the Graduate Theological Union. Flight Feathers, her fourth book of poetry, found its filoplumes at Centrum Artist Residency following her service as Clark County Poet Laureate, Washington 2018–2020, and is a Nautilus Gold Winner in Lyric Prose. She has poems in Dawn Songs: A Birdwatcher’s Field Guide to the Poetics of Migration, a 2023 anthology edited by Jamie K. Reaser and J. Drew Lanham.
