Our annual community book club and programming series kicks off on August 20 with free copies of Crisis on Mount Hood: Stories from 100 Years of Mountain Rescue by Christopher Van Tilburg, available for pickup at White Salmon Valley Community Library. Then join us in October for special activities and expert presentations as we dive into Crisis on Mount Hood, explore the history of America's oldest search and rescue team, and examine the modern challenges facing our regional peaks.
All events are free and will be held at White Salmon Valley Community Library. No registration is required.
