Artists of the Gorge 2024

Artists of the Gorge is an annual juried art exhibit showcasing the talent of local artists. This year marks the 45th event.

Eligibility

Entry is free and open to all artists from Washougal to The Dalles and all of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Artists must be 18 years or older.

This event is open-themed. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, wood pieces, fabric art, and other media will be considered.

Entries must be RECENT (completed within the last two years) and original works. Copies, patterns, commercial art, or class work will not be accepted. Each artist may submit a maximum of two entries. 

Deadline

The submission deadline is Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Instructions

Artwork must be suitably prepared for display (i.e., framed and wired, ready for hanging; under glass or plexiglass as appropriate, etc.).

If you would like to be included in the virtual exhibit, please email a JPEG of your art (less than 10MB) to dwyatt@fvrl.org.

It would be helpful if you would include a short statement on each work you are submitting.

Exhibit

An opening reception with music and refreshments will be held at Stevenson Community Library on Saturday, October 5, at 6 pm. The exhibit will be viewable in the library gallery and online October 7 - 31. Voting for People's Choice is possible both in-person and on this website.
