How can I view Northstar Online Learning tutorials and evaluations in Spanish?
To view tutorials in Spanish and keep track of your progress, you must first set up a learner account online.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Check “I’m not a robot”.
- Select the “Sign up” button.
- A message will appear telling you to check your email, so do that next.
- You will receive a welcome email containing a large blue box where you can click to join and create a password. Do this next.
- Create a password with at least 8 characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase, and either a number or special character as instructed.
- You will then move to a “Password Reset Complete” notice. Select the blue “Log in” button.
- Enter your email address and password to log in.
Now you can change the language displayed to Spanish. Here’s how:
- At the top of the page, select the “Profile” icon that looks like a person in a circle.
- Select the circle before “Latin American Spanish.”
- When the option displays, select the dark gray “Update” button.
- The page will reload in Spanish. Select the “Panel” icon that looks like a wide computer monitor to view available lessons and evaluations.
Some topics available in Spanish include:
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Windows, email, and other basics)
- Basic software skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Docs)
- Use of technology in daily life (i.e., telemedicine, and early and primary distance education)
